Isolated Boating Thanks to Evinrude XD 100 Oil

r1069140_12600614Like a lot of my friends, I like to spend a decent amount of time at concerts and music festivals because there’s a certain type of camaraderie that can be developed with strangers when you’re in a crowd together sharing an experience regarding musical artists that you like. However, I like to take breaks from these instances every now and then because too many crowds can be overwhelming.

When I start to feel that way, I usually prefer to just hang out with a few close friends and go somewhere isolated. Sometimes we go camping, but if the weather’s right, our favorite thing to do is to go boating together. I usually load my boat up with Evinrude XD 100 oil and then we’ll find a lake or a river somewhere and boat around for a while.

img12413131536I’m the type of person who is constantly seeking knowledge, especially in regards to the things I want to do with my life. For instance, when I was purchasing my boat, I probably went on every single major boating website you could think of to check out reviews and figure out exactly what the right boat for me would be.

Similarly, once I did select and purchase my boat, I started picking up as many books as possible that were related to boating and boat maintenance. I was able to determine which two cycle outboard oil was the best for my boat, as well as learned a number of tips and tricks for if my boat ever needs major maintenance. I even learned some things about properly cleaning a boat.

Betting with Evinrude Oil

xd50My best friend and I can be a little on the competitive side. We’re always finding ways to turn things into bets and competitions. Most recently, when we were hanging out on a boating trip, we decided that we would have a fishing contest. All we needed to do was set up the parameters of the bet, so we could figure out exactly what the stakes would be.

I promised that I would buy him some Evinrude oil for his boat if he won the contest, and he said he would do the same for me if I won. I thought that would be a fair wager and that we were pretty evenly matched. I was wrong about one thing though; he caught way more fish than I did. He’s clearly more of an expert fisherman than I am, but I was happy to pay up.

Seafarers Love To Use Mercury 2 Cycle Oil

1030632085_20f0e0fea9I’ve always been a bit sea-obsessed. When I was a kid, my favorite movie was Finding Nemo and sharks have always been my favorite animal. Even though I have a love for interesting fish, I also enjoy the sport of fishing because I don’t think loving fish and loving fishing have to be mutually exclusive. Seafood is probably my favorite food, so I can’t really resist it.

Needless to say, my love for the sea and for fishing has led me to become an experienced boater as well. My parents have had a boat for a long time.  I learned to drive it as early as I could. I’m learning how to maintain boats and work on them as well, whether they need Mercury 2 cycle oil or another kind of tune-up.

Using Mercury 2 Stroke Oil With My Brother

dogsbodecMy twin brother and I always like to plan fishing trips together. It reminds us of the times when we were kids and our grandfather would take us out fishing. My brother and I live pretty close to one another, so we are able to get prepared together too. He has a large garage and workshop area, so I usually take my boat over there.

We work on the boat together and make sure that everything is in the best possible condition. We use Mercury 2 stroke oil to maintain my boat, which has a 2 stroke engine. We also clean the boat together and make sure that we both have all of the supplies that we are going to need before our fishing trip. It’s always good to be prepared.

In addition to this, they said that in the year 2009, more than fifty million participants went boating. Cruising and fishing were determined to be the most popular boat-related activities.

One last interesting piece of information that they released was that ten million outdoor enthusiasts were currently considering boat ownership. With that many people out there looking to buy a boat, one hopes that they are making sure to stay informed regarding proper boat maintenance, perhaps with Yamaha outboard oil or another type of motor oil.

Changing Your Boat Motor Oil

marina_mainEven as someone who has had a boat for a few years, I still don’t know a whole lot about what makes it tick. I often rely on friends and professionals who have more experience with boating than me when it comes to making decisions regarding how to properly take care of my boat. I figure following their advice is my best bet to get the most out of having a boat.

One thing I’ve definitely learned to make sure I do, from friends and professionals at boating stores and repair shops alike, is that I should always be on top of changing the boat motor oil. In order to keep a boat running properly for a long time, which is precisely what I would like to do, you have to stay on top of that, or you can run into problems pretty quickly.

Seeking The Perfect Ratio of 2 Stroke Oil and Fuel

imagesI’m the kind of person that likes to figure things out on his own. I ask for help occasionally, but only if I really don’t know what I’m doing. Most of the time, I’m fine with using the trial and error approach. I like to think that the best way to learn to do something is by actually doing it.

The one thing that I have been trying to figure out for a while is the fuel to oil ratio for my outboard engine. I’ve tried a lot of different combinations with a lot of mixed results. I’ve flirted with the perfect ratio a couple of times but I always try to look for a better ratio. Some of my buddies have their own ratios figured out but I like to keep trying out different things until I am satisfied that I have found the right one. I’ve experimented with different brands of 2 stroke oil and fuel but I’m still not satisfied. I kind of like that it’s still a work in progress. It gives me something to do and something to strive for.

Picking Up Some Yamaha Oil Over The Weekend

aquasporttrailer-1There are some things that I just can’t get used to; sitting in traffic is one of them. It’s unavoidable and no matter how many shortcuts I come by, there’s still always some traffic on the roads. It gets really bad when I’m on my way home from work but I guess I shouldn’t complain too much about it because I’m not the only one who is going through this frustration.

I was sitting in traffic today so I decided to think about other things to get my mind off the situation. My girlfriend told me that she wants to go shopping for the apartment so she’s going to drag me to a home décor store over the weekend and ask my opinion about dinnerware and window treatments. I also needed to go to the store and pick up some Yamaha Oil because I’m running low. I hate running out completely so I like to keep a few bottles around just in case. All in all, it took about an hour for me to get home. Without traffic, it would have taken me less than thirty minutes. I need to find a better way to commute to and from work.

Fishing in the Sun

My dad wanted to get the family together this summer for a big boat blowout. All of us went out to the lake together to go fishing for steelhead. We had our tackle boxes full of bait, our lifejackets on tight, and we were ready to head out to enjoy the warm sun out on his new boat. It was going to be quite an adventure!

When we got out there, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect for boating escapades. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky, so it was a mighty good thing we remembered to bring our sunscreen! Luckily for all of us, my dad had purchased Evinrude XD100 Oil for his Evinrude E-TEC motor and we didn’t waste any time getting out there to properly enjoy the day. It was a great day to make memories for the whole family.

Yamaha Lubricants

Yesterday I wrote about the guys’ weekend I attended in lieu of a traditional bachelor party. After we docked from the fishing tip, I took the first mate up on his offer to take a look at the different oils they keep stocked. Sure enough, in their store room there was a whole wall lined with Yamaha lubricants.

Though Yamaha lubricants are versatile, the first mate explained, the fleet owner makes sure that only the factory recommended boat motor oil. I started poking around the rest of the storage shed and talking to the first mate about what it takes to start a charter fishing boat business. He and I chatted a bit more and I took down his contact information just in case I had more questions about the industry.
