Giving Advice About Using Yamalube Oil

domo-online blog 5 9-28-15When my brother bought a boat and joined the other boat owners that are in my family, we were all worried about making sure that he would be able to take good care of his new boat. My brother told everyone that he knew what he was doing and didn’t want any more advice after we had all talked to him multiple times. He wanted a chance to do things on his own.

I wasn’t too surprised when he called me up a few days after turning down all of our advice to ask about different types of oil. He knew that since he had a Yamaha engine on the boat, he should use Yamalube oil in it. The trouble was, that he had no idea about what version of the oil to use or where to put it once he bought it for his boat.

Yamalube 2M is Perfect for the 2-Stroke Outboard Motor on My Dad’s Old Boat

domo-online blog 4 9-28-15Now that my dad is starting to get older, he has decided that it isn’t really safe for him to go out fishing by himself on his boat. His solution to this problem was gifting me the boat so that he would be able to avoid all of the maintenance and licensing of the boat. He calls me up regularly so that I will take him fishing in the boat that used to be his.

When I first was given the boat, I was surprised by how much work I had to make sure to put into it. I had never owned a boat before and didn’t know anything about boat oil or when I was supposed to put oil in the outboard motor. Luckily, my dad was able to give me great advice and even a few bottles of Yamalube 2M that I could use in the motor.

I Know That I’ll Be Alright with Yamaha Outboard Oil

domo-online blog 3 9-28-15When I discovered that the cheaper oil that I had trusted to flow through my Yamaha outboard motor was actually creating clogs and buildup in the system, I knew that I needed to buy a new kind of oil right away. I took the time to make sure that the engine was cleaned out before looking for new oil. The price for that definitely wasn’t worth the money I’d saved on cheap oil.

I started to look for a kind of oil that I would be able to rely on since it was clear that the cheaper types of oil were not as reliable as I had thought. Even though I looked at many different brands initially, I ended up buying Yamaha outboard oil in the end. I decided that the manufacturer brand was one I was likely to be able to trust.

Mercury Premium Plus is Perfect for My New Motor

domo-online blog 2 9-28-15After my outboard motor broke at the beginning of the summer, I found myself stranded as a fisherman without a motor. I was able to fish in the river still and even off of the pier, but this certainly wasn’t the same as being able to go out in my boat with an outboard motor puttering away. I had to wait to find the best possible motor to use with my boat.

Even though, I knew that I had to wait until I had money for a new motor, I started looking for motors early on. I eventually was able to find the perfect direct fuel injected outboard motor for my boat. As soon as I had the money, I was able to start running the motor with Mercury Premium Plus oil with the hopes that my new motor would last a lot longer than the last one.

Mercury 2 Stroke Oil Fueled My Day on the Water While I Vacationed

domo-online blog 1 9-28-15When I was on vacation last week, I decided that it would be fun to rent a small boat and take it out on the water so that I would be able to do a bit of fishing. Back at home, I have my own boat that I know how to handle, so I knew that I would be fine taking out a rental boat that was of similar size to the one I had at home. I still felt a bit nervous about renting a boat.

When I stepped on the boat, I was glad to find that the boat that I had rented was not nearly as foreign as I had expected it to be. It had a wonderful Mercury Optimax outboard just like the one that I have back at home so I was completely familiar with it. When I asked the rental place what oil they ran in it, I was relieved when they told me that they used Mercury 2 stroke oil.

The Basics of Boat Maintenance with Mercury Optimax Oil

Domo-Online 9-21-2015 Pic 5Anyone that goes boating on a regular basis should know the basics of boat maintenance. For major problems, you’re still probably going to want to take the boat to a mechanic or another kind of specialist. However, with basic boat maintenance like putting in the oil, you should have some idea of how to do that yourself.

For starters, you have to know which oil is appropriate for your boat, which is usually decided based on the type of engine that your boat has. For my boat, I make sure that it’s filled up with Mercury Optimax oil whenever I’m doing maintenance on it. This helps to ensure that my boat is working the best it can.

Always Having Extra Evinrude XD50 Oil

Domo-Online 9-21-2015 Pic 4I’m definitely not the best fisherman in the world, but fishing is something that I very much enjoy. During the summer, I make a strong effort to ensure that I’m taking out my boat as often as possible for various fishing experiences. In order to regularly take the boat out like that, I have to be sure I’m taking care of my boat.

This means that I have to pay close attention to the boat’s maintenance and ensure that everything is going the way that it’s supposed to. In order to do that, I’ve made certain that I always have some extra Evinrude XD50 oil around that can be used for boat maintenance when needed.

More Waverunner Experiences Thanks to Yamaha 2W Oil

Domo-Online 9-21-2015 Pic 3Everyone should take the opportunity to take a Waverunner out for a spin, if you get the chance. It’s so much fun to ride on a Waverunner and it’s so much different from riding around on any other kind of vehicles. It’s kind of like a combination of a boat and a motorcycle without really feeling like either.

In any case, if you decide to purchase a Waverunner, you should also be sure that you pick up all the Yamaha 2W oil that you’ll need. With the right amount of oil, it’ll be easier for you to ensure that your Waverunner is always working properly and you’ll always be ahead of the game when it comes to its maintenance.

Regular Maintenance Using Evinrude Oil

Domo-Online 9-21-2015 Pic 2When you’re looking for oil that you’ll be able to use on your boat, you have to make sure that you check out what kind of engine you have. That will allow you to determine which brand of motor oil is going to be right for your boat. With the right motor oil, you can ensure that your boat is running the best it can.

For instance, my boat runs using an Evinrude motor, meaning that it was necessary for me to load up on as much Evinrude oil as I could. Since I’ve got a decent amount of oil available to me, I never have to worry about the performance of my boat, since I can regularly perform maintenance on it.

Paying Attention to My Stock of 2 Stroke Oil

Domo-Online 9-21-2015 Pic 1Purchasing a boat was one of the best decisions that I ever made. Going out on my boat is something that I enjoy quite a bit, as I love spending a weekend fishing with my friends from time to time. It can be a great deal of fun going out and trying to find enough fish to make a meal out of when they’re brought home.

Of course, in order to go boating as frequently as I like, I have to be sure that I’m regularly paying attention to my stock of 2 stroke oil. If I were to run out of that, I wouldn’t be able to perform the required maintenance on my boat. That would mean that it wasn’t running to the best of its abilities.

Condensing a Bulk Purchase with a Mercury Oil 55 Gallon Drum

Domo-Online 9-14-2015 Pic 4In some cases, it’s best to purchase something in bulk. This is a particularly good decision when you can buy in bulk without taking up a tremendous amount of space. Sometimes, buying in bulk just means buying a lot of different packages all at once for a discounted price. That’s not really going to save you any space.

However, when I was looking into purchasing motor oil for my boat, I thought that it’d be a great idea to pick up a Mercury oil 55 gallon drum. Rather than having a ton of bottles of oil, I have it all in one convenient drum that allows me to have as much motor oil as I could possibly need, without taking up a ridiculous amount of space.
