Boating in Kansas

When you think Kansas, you’re probably not thinking of beaches or boating at all. But you’d be surprised that there actually are a few places for Kansans and people visiting Kansas can go to swim, hang out on the beach, and even roam around in a boat. The bigger ones are in the Kansas City area, bordering Missouri, such as Blue Springs Lake and Longview Lake.

But there are also places actually within the borders of Kansas like Shawnee Mission Park Beach and Kill Creek Park Beach. Regardless of where you choose, it’s nice to know that there are places even in the center of the United States where people can still find ways to boat.
