mediumWhen I was younger and living in Wisconsin, I used to go ice fishing fairly frequently with my father in the winters. Though it got me interested in fishing, I would often hear about some of my friends who would go to visit the Great Lakes and go fishing on their parents’ boats. We didn’t have a lot of money when I was growing up, so I was always a little jealous.

In my adulthood, I’ve got a high-paying job and more than enough money for a boat, so one of my favorite things to do is to take my dad on fishing trips, just like he did for me. However, instead of going ice fishing, we can load up my boat with Evinrude oil and take it out on a lake nearby so that our fishing experience can be even more exciting, and a lot less cold.

He lives in an area where it’s warm enough for him to do this, so that he doesn’t get plagued by cold weather and rain like he would if he tried that where I live. He’s spent his retirement fishing with his friends or sometimes even going out by himself to just cruise around on his boat for the fun of it.

He has also spent a lot of his retirement learning about boats and gathering all the information that is necessary to make sure that his boat is always running smoothly. Since I’ve been looking into getting a boat myself this summer, he’s told me a lot of useful information about plenty of things, such as fuel additives like Yamalube Ringfree Plus.

Yamaha Oil and Keyboards

23328877_CP_photoI’ve been playing the piano since I was young. I started out playing it on a grand piano but eventually I decided that I had a preference for keyboards. After years and years of playing the keyboards, I’ve determined that Yamaha keyboards are my absolute favorite ones, and I never purchase keyboards or accessories that are developed by anyone else.

When I got a boat, I decided I’d be able to make use of my support for Yamaha once again. I figured that if I could trust Yamaha to make all of my musical instruments, I could also trust them to be the ones who make the oil that I would use in my boat. That’s the ultimate reason why I choose to purchase Yamaha oil over the other options out there.

Having a Mercury Oil 55 Gallon Drum Just in Case

image13One trick that I’ve always stood by is having an extra supply of something and pretending it’s not there except for in case you need it in a pinch. For instance, I have a savings account that I never touch unless I’m looking to make a particularly big purchase. I try to make certain that it never gets any lower than a certain amount, so I always have a safety cushion.

I do the same thing with supplies that need to be replenished. For my boat, I keep a Mercury oil 55 gallon drum in my garage as an extra amount that doesn’t need to be touched unless I’m going on a boating trip on short notice and I don’t have the time to pick up more oil. I rarely have to take oil from it, but it’s really nice having the oil drum as a safety cushion, just like my savings account.

Learning About 2 Cycle Oil and Boat Maintenance

I developed a genuine love for boating as time went on and I always imagined myself being able to get my boating license and take a boat out on a lake myself. Eventually, as I grew older, I was able to accomplish this goal, though I realized I didn’t know as much about boats as I would have liked to.

After I got my boating license, I started looking into boats more and learning more about them. I figured out which boats needed 2 cycle oil and how to mix it in with the fuel. I learned about the different parts that were in a boat and how they needed to be maintained. I want to eventually know enough about boats that I can do mechanical work on my own boat.

Bulk Mercury Optimax Oil Helps with Retirement

4a7_415_BayCruiser_1As someone who has recently retired, I have found myself with a lot of free time on my hands that I didn’t have before. I’ve worked five days a week for the majority of my life, and it’s very strange suddenly having a bunch of extra time to do whatever I want. I had a decent retirement plan as well, so it’s very nice not having to worry about money or work anymore.

I get a lot of time to spend gardening, which has always been something that I’ve been interested in. I also picked up some bulk Mercury Optimax oil so that I can spend a decent amount of time going boating and fishing in the different lakes that are nearby my home. I like to have the oil in bulk so that I don’t have to keep going out and buying more.

Planning a Surprise Trip with Outboard Motor Oil

RinkerOne of my best friends is turning thirty this weekend and our group of friends has been planning out a surprise boating trip for him for a while now. We’re all really excited for it, although it’s been challenging keeping it a surprise so that he doesn’t find out what we have in store for him. He knows he’s doing something with us, he just doesn’t quite know what.

I picked up plenty of outboard motor oil when we first started planning everything so that I wouldn’t have to think about it at the last minute. I’m the one with the boat, but my other friends did the planning aspects in regards to where we’ll be staying for the weekend and what the best lakes for boating and fishing were in our area.

Whitefish Lake and Evinrude XD 50 Oil

100-0509tarpon_atboatOne of my favorite places to go fishing is in northwest Montana. In particular, I’ve always found the best lake to go fishing there is Whitefish Lake, which is a place that has been named for the large amount of mountain whitefish that can be found in it. You’re also likely to be able to fish for rainbow trout and northern pike, which are both great to cook and eat.

There are lots of really huge fish in Whitefish Lake, so it’s important to have good fishing equipment and a powerful fishing boat, preferably one running on Evinrude XD 50 oil. I’ve pulled a lot of fish from that lake that have weighed upwards of twenty pounds, so you can often have a challenging yet lucrative fishing experience there.

Waverunner and Yamaha 2W Oil for Anniversary

12ft-2013-yamaha-waverunner-fx-sho-1My girlfriend and I have done a lot of bonding out on the water; one of our very first dates was on a ferry ride and we both enjoy fishing and other activities that can be done out on the water. Whenever summer rolls around, we like to go boating and fishing in as many lakes and rivers as we can over the course of the season, while the weather is still nice.

This year, for our anniversary, I decided that we would do something that we had never done before, and I got us a Waverunner, alongside all the Yamaha 2W oil that I would need for it. I think that my girlfriend will really enjoy riding around on a Waverunner and I’m really excited to reveal the surprise to her, so that we can have fun with it together.

Mercury 2 Cycle Oil Prevents You from Getting Stranded

piston2Whenever I go boating, I always try to make sure that my boat is in its best condition possible. There are a lot of reports where I live of boats breaking down and people getting stranded out on the ocean, which is something that I obviously would prefer to completely avoid. That’s why I always live by the mantra of always being as prepared as possible.

I’ve got plenty of Mercury 2 cycle oil that I use on my boat, as well as all of the other necessary products that are required for proper maintenance. These products can include fuel, fuel additives, cleaning supplies, replacement parts, and plenty of other things. I also have a satellite phone that I take with me in case I ever get stranded out on the ocean for whatever reason.
